Para GCMP la obra supone el ejercicio máximo de su oficio. Es precisamente en la brecha entre previsión y realidad que el manejo de un material tan sensible como el vegetal nos obliga a la consideración de todos los factores que posibilitan su evolución hacia un deseado estado resiliente. La compatibilidad con todo tipo de transformación física en el sistema -principalmente causada por la obra civil o edificatoria-, requiere el afianzamiento de colaboraciones con profesionales especializados (arboricultores, viveristas,…). Adicionalmente el planteamiento de estados límite de servicio y mantenimiento en correspondencia con la variabilidad de estos factores determinantes (ambientales, económicos, sociales) acotarán y completarán los marcos de proyecto e intervención, garantizando su viabilidad a medio plazo.
The experience of work represents the highest exercise in our practice. It is precisely in the gap between project and reality, that the management of a sensitive matter as the planting material compels us to consider factors that enable its evolution towards a desired resilient state. The compatibility with all types of physical transformations – mainly caused by civil or building work-, requires the strengthening of collaborations with specialized professionals (Foresters, nurseries,…)
In addition, the definition of service and maintenance conditions in correspondence with the variability of these determining factors (environmental, economic, social…) will complete the project and intervention frameworks in order to ensure a medium-term durability.

La ejecución nos posiciona en la realidad lanzaroteña, valorando más, si cabe, la adaptación a la disponibilidad de medios y recursos en el singular contexto la isla. Ahora ya no es la Plaza del Millo, es la Harinera.
Work for the integral refurbishment of Plaza Pedro Alcántara [La Harinera] | Promoter: City Concil of Arrecife (Lanzarote, Canary Islands) | Execution: Lanzagrava S.L. | This work completes the process initiated with the ideas competition called in 2018. The execution positions us in the Lanzarote reality, valuing more, if possible, the adaptation to the availability of means and resources in the unique context of the island. Now it is no longer the Plaza del Millo, it is La Harinera (the Flour Mill).
2022.05 || Proyecto de intervención paisajística para la creación de un corredor verde en el Acceso Sur del Puerto de Algeciras | Licitante: Autoridad Portuaria Bahía de Algeciras (APBA) | Proyecto de obra civil e implantación de material vegetal | Ejecución Pinus S.A. | El objetivo principal de esta obra es consolidar un carácter renovado para el conjunto del Acceso Sur y las alineaciones de la Dársena del Saladillo. La adición de nuevas zonas ajardinadas permite recrear una imagen más coherente, convirtiendo al material verde en un elemento que dota legibilidad a todo el espacio y que conecta el recinto portuario con su entorno.
Landscape intervention Project for the creation of a green corridor in the South Access of the Port of Algeciras | Promoter: Port of Algeciras Bay Authority (APBA) | Civil engineering and landscaping | Execution Pinus S.A. | The main objective of this work is to consolidate a renewed character for the whole of the South Access and the alignments of the Dársena del Saladillo. The addition of new landscaped areas allows recreating a more coherent image, turning the green material into an element that gives legibility to the whole space and connects the port area with its surroundings.
2018.03 || Proyecto de integración de zonas verdes en el Ramal del Muelle de Isla Verde del Vial Principal del Puerto de Algeciras | Licitante: Autoridad Portuaria Bahía de Algeciras (APBA) | Proyecto de obra civil e implantación de material vegetal | Ejecución Manuel Alba S.A. | El Puerto de Algeciras encara una fase de consolidación que sucede a su gran expansión en Isla Verde Exterior. El Ramal del Vial Principal vertebra este desarrollo, permitiendo el asentamiento de grandes concesionarias. Su trazado ha conformado franjas longitudinales baldías hacia los cierres, posibilitando el trazado de recorridos peatonales y el acompañamiento de bandas continuas de vegetación.

The new branch of the Main Roadway supports this development, allowing the establishment of large factories. The platform execution has formed large regular borders towards the plots. These strips become suitable spaces for the planting of green material, enabling the integration of pedestrian paths.(+)

El resultado muestra la cara más grata del material vegetal: la respuesta inmediata a unas buenas condiciones de implantación.
Fernery on façade | Monte Alto, Corunna (A Coruña, Galicia, Spain) | Project for an indoor garden consisting of the creation of a greenhouse on façade | The scale is domestic, a very tight space where every inch counts. The result shows the most pleasant face of ‘green material’: the immediate response to good planting conditions.
2015.04 || Proyecto de intervención paisajística en las rotondas de acceso a la Terminal de Transbordadores del Puerto de Algeciras | Licitante: Autoridad Portuaria Bahía de Algeciras (APBA) | Proyecto de obra civil e implantación de material vegetal | Ejecución C.M.T Carmín S.L. | Partiendo de la justificación general contenida en el Estudio de Integración de zonas verdes en el ámbito del Vial Principal del Puerto de Algeciras, la obra materializa una tipología de rotonda que permita el arraigo de vegetación de porte en importantes nodos de regulación de flujos de vehículos y personas. Mediante el uso de palmáceas se busca la conexión con las intervenciones consolidadas en el recinto portuario y el frente urbano.
Landscape intervention project at the road access to the Ferry Terminal, Port of Algeciras | Promoter: Port of Algeciras Bay Authority (APBA) | Civil engineering and landscaping | Execution: C.M.T Carmín S.L. | Based on the general justification contained in the Study for the integration of green areas in the environ of the Main Road of the Port of Algeciras, this work materializes a typology of roundabout that allows the implementation of important planting extensions. These elements are important nodes for the regulation of flows of traffic and people. Through the use of palm trees, we intend to connect the interventions completed in the port area with the urban waterfront.

Restoration of a Historic Mid-20th-century Garden | Execution: D. J. P. y E. Mediterraneum S.L. | Garden restoration project | The plot is located in Malaga, in a neighborhood consolidated in the first half of the twentieth century. Building and garden compose an unbreakable set in which the passage of time has affected both inert and living materials. The garden is small but keeps a palmetum over 65 years old. This ‘green material’ was extraordinary so we had to consider extraordinary measures (e.g. transplantation of specimens). The monitoring was exhaustive, having accompanied the successive events of the building work.|

Partiendo de especies de fácil adaptación a las condiciones climáticas locales, el jardín suaviza la dura imagen del edificio en un entorno con escasos referentes paisajísticos.
COGILCO Headquarters: ‘Corporate’ garden | Project and management of D.J.P.y E. Mediterraneum, S.L (Mercedes Pérez Villalón) for Fadesa S.A. | Cogilco S.L. is a real-estate company whose headquarters is placed in the Andalusian Technology Park (PTA)-Malaga. Through the use of well adapted species to local conditions, the garden softens the graceless image of a building located in an environment provided of scarce landscape resources.
